Spirals is situated on the southern slopes of Glastonbury Tor in lovely Ashwell Lane with easy access to the Tor and nearby walks to Chalice Well, Gog Magog and adjoining countryside.  The house was built in 1935 and has recently been renovated with beautiful wooden floorboards throughout, a large light and airy living/dining area with a woodburner where we serve breakfast and where guests can relax in the evening if desired.

From the living room and bedroom windows looking south over the Somerset Levels you can frequently view local wildlife.  Deer, Foxes, and birds such as Buzzard, Sparrowhawk, Swans, our local Robin (pictured right) and from October to April the daily fly by the famous local Starlings that pass in their thousands on route to their nightly roost on the western levels.

Our focus at Spirals is to provide our guests with clean, clear, well presented space in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere at reasonable prices, with emphasis placed on de-stressing and encouraging re-generation and creativity.

We are a TV free house so it's a great place to read, write and be creative.  We have free wireless broadband if you want to use your laptop online.

We provide good maps of the area as well as information on the best places to eat and visit locally.
